Hi, I'm Marine, the founder and chef behind MOON Friendly Kitchen.

Originally from France and now based in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, I created MOON from a simple belief: food should be fresh, seasonal, and prepared with intention.

My love for cooking began long before I became a chef. Growing up in France, some of my favorite memories were gathering around long family tables, sharing homemade meals prepared with love by my family and my grandfather. Those moments taught me that food is about so much more than what's on the plate—it's about the people you share it with, the conversations, and the energy that goes into preparing every meal.

With a background in naturopathy, I pay close attention to every ingredient I choose. I cook with fresh, seasonal produce, prioritize organic ingredients whenever possible, and source from local farmers and producers. At MOON, you'll never find refined oils or refined sugars in my recipes. Every meal is prepared using stainless steel and cast-iron cookware, because I believe every detail matters—from the ingredients we select to the way we cook them.

Inspired by nature and cuisines from around the world, my cooking celebrates vibrant vegetables, homemade ferments, bold flavors, and simple recipes prepared from scratch in small batches.

At MOON, you'll find weekly meal prep, private chef experiences, handcrafted buffets, naturally fermented drinks, and artisan pantry products—each created with the same care and attention to detail.

Our cuisine is primarily vegetarian and vegan, with fresh fish available upon request for private events. We do not serve or prepare meat, and gluten-free options are always available.

My hope is that every meal from MOON brings people together around the table, creating the same feeling of warmth, generosity, and connection that first inspired me to cook.
